Default Microsoft offers $250,000 for the head of Conficker’s author
Microsoft is known to be offering $250000 for information which might lead to capturing the author of the much dreaded Conficker worm. The worm has been spreading at a alarming rate and currently it is projected that the infection rate is two million computers with five days. The company is also said to have joined hands with major security research firms and antivirus software vendors in controlling the spread of the worm. The patch for the worm was already released in October 2008, but many who cared not to patch up their systems are facing the devil.
