Rep Power: 10 | Many of us transfer files using FTP method. For this purpose a very simple and useful tool is the FireFTP Add-on of Firefox. FireFTP - The Free FTP Client for Mozilla Firefox It works on Windows, Mac OS X, Linux; practically any platform that can run Firefox. It supports IPv6 & proxy. It can manage multiple accounts. The passwords can be saved locally or typed everytime. It is possible to control the format of transfer, i.e. Binary or ASCII modes. It opens in a new tab with two panels, computer in Left and the destination server in right. Transferring files is as simple as the click. |
