Samsung is going to launch a fifth generation television in association with yahoo! Yahoo! Widget Engine is an application platform that brings Internet connectivity to the halls of the user through a number of what the company calls TV Widgets. Initially, users can check their stock and news headlines and also browse the Internet-based videos and photos, as well as interaction with friends.
