Undersea cable laying is set to cross the 15 barrier( achieved in 2001 & 2008). according to a recent report from TeleGeography Research.
In 2001: 13.5 $ billion dollars were expend on cable laying.
But between 2004 - 2007 : Only 2$ billion were spend after dotcom bust.
