Rep Power: 1 | US scientists have found a new way to store solar energy for the usage during nights or during the low sun light days like on a rainy day. This type of powering cells would help many home users to use the solar energy during night. This is done by using a catalyst that produces oxygen and hydrogen that fuel cells use to generate electricity. This method is much cheaper than the electricity. This development in the conversion and consumption of solar energy into useful forms would allow people to bank solar energy as hydrogen and oxygen, which a fuel cell could use to produce energy when the sun is not shining. |
