There is a company called Powercast that has devised two units that can be used for the transmission and reception of radio waves for energy, in other words to transmit and receive radio waves for energy. Powercaster is the name given to the transmitter that sends at a fixed frequency a low-power radio wave. Powerharvester which the name given to the receiver, can be fixed to any low-power device. Now in this technology when the receiver is set to the same frequency as the transmitter it empowers the device and charges the unit's battery. This technology of Radio charging is used only for small sized equipments or items.
