Intel’s Atom processor was no sale on 30 Sep 2008 and the buyer is no other than Tranquil PC of UK. This Intel’s Atom processor is a home Server based on the dual core version. For low cost desktops, new mother board has been designed with Atom 330 a dual core chip by Intel developer. Tranquil’s T7-HSG Server is based on Atom 330 a dual core chip. Tranquil has stated that Atom 330 has two 1.6 GHz processor cores in a single chip. The dual core Atom mother board has a single memory card slot which holds 2 GB of DDR2 memory. There is lot of demand for Atom and it has increased more than Intel’s forecasts. The company is trying hard to meet the fast rising popularity of this chip.
