It is a one-way digital data transmission technology which used to transmit data from Digital TV station to users and developed between 2000 and 2005. the iBlast is Low cost and has a high speed of data transmission from TV station to users. iBlast as a technology can be used to transmitting websites or files from Internet. But this system has certain disadvantages too like it is a one way data transmission and has to be combined with other method of data transmission from users to TV station. Then there are privacy and security issues. But in the end it is the advantages of this system that weigh more. |
