Rep Power: 3 | EMI Music has said that they have agreed to license music videos from their artists. These videos would now be made available on an online video portal. In addition, these music videos would also be made available on an on-demand cable service operated by Gotuit Media Corp. The agreement would see the two companies share the advertising revenues generated by these music videos. However, these videos would be accessible to only those visitors who are accessing the video portal from United States. Visitors to Gotuit.com website would be able to check out these music videos but would not be allowed to upload their own. And this latest deal just goes on to show how media companies are expanding their scope to the internet to generate more revenues. |
