Rep Power: 3 | Japanese consumer electronics maker Sony has now announced a recall of some of their Cyber-shot digital camera models due to a defect. This is the latest such recall from the company, which is failing to match the quality levels expected from it by the consumers. Consumers often pay a premium for a product branded Sony. The company said that users in some case might have problems viewing images when trying to take photographs due to a glitch with the image sensor. The products being recalled are: DSC-F88, DSC-M1, DSC-T1, DSC-T11, DSC-T3, DSC-T33, DSC-U40 and DSC-U50. These were sold in the market between September 2003 and January 2005. Sony had more details regarding this flaw in these cameras: “In high-temperature and humid circumstances, the digital cameras may fail to show image through the viewer.” |
