Thread: Facebook to Charge $4.99 from march 2010?

There are rumours going round on facebook that facebook will no longer be free from march 2010. One of the most popular social networking site facebook is rumoured to be charging members $4 per month for using its services
I wouldn’t pay for facebook , iam not too fb addicted to do that and don’t need facebook to survive. Facebook is already making money from display ads then why this ? If they do then I must go back to myspace and orkut, and anyway most of my friends aren’t on facebook . Also facebook isn’t even customizable as in backrounds !

This move may actually make us meet people afce to face rather than talk and chat with WALLS
But I hope they start charging and make me less obsessed and concentrate more on the real world rather than virtual. But jokes apart mark zukerbug is a billionaire and if facebook isn’t free then well it is a great decision make people dependent then charge! Aah how creep .
But I doubt this will happen they may not charge for basic use rather payments may be for premium accounts
