Orkut is one of the popular social networking sites especially among Indians . But off late many users are quitting orkut to use other better refined social networks like facebook and twitter.

Google had recently revamped orkut giving it new and enhanced facebook type features , but this is barely enough to save the networking site. Now in a bid to save orkut Google has released google chrome extention for orkut through which allows you fast and easy search profiles, search contacts and receive notifications of pictures status messages, scarps and app updates. Other features of this extention inclue share this page feature and search box to search within orkut. Google hopes this extention will increase the use of orkut among users

nothing,, just when you have downloaded the about stuff, a Orkut's url will be next to the adress bar thats it..
