Thread: Multiple networking sites

There are a number of social networking sites available today. Majority of People are registered on more than one site. Popular networking sites include facebook, myspace, facebook, linked in orkut and twitter. But these are not the only networking sites available there are hundreds other networking sites catering to different sections of society with more being added everyday.

I like trying new things so I don’t mind registering at new and interesting sites on a regular basis. But these rarely make me addicted or appeal to me ! I have accounts in networking sites like hi5, ibibo, zorphia, prefsoft ( don’t know if that’s the right spelling!) , tumler, plurk, and many more where I haven’t check back for at least a year now !

Are these sites really productive or are they just time consuming ? If you have site or blog it makes sense to register everywhere for extra traffic
How many sites are you registered at ?

Just read somewhere there are more than 650 Social Networking websites. Number of Social Networking Users Has Doubled Since 2007.

I am registered at FB and Linked-in. But I do not get time to network and socialize. Most of my spare time is taken up by this forum.
