Thread: Why people hate Apple?

Apple is a big and a very popular global brand. After the release of ipod people have renewed their love for apple. But there are some people who hate apple, actually it is pretty easy to hate apple. here are reasons why some people hate apple.

*They have sky high prices . Apple products cost a lot the mac the ipod and now the ipad !

*Apple wants and tries to monopolize everything. They just don’t want to get their operating system work on other hardware, but hardware then keep coming back to them for software! Apple forces ipod users to use itunes.And now with the ipad they don’t have a removable battery .

*Apple fanatics: All these who love apple are too attached and loyal to Apples products while very fast to criticizes others.

* Apple has this odd way of business. They develop a software and never market it. They build a device around it and then market it .

All reasons are right.........

Only those people hate Apple who either can't afford it or they are too criticising about success of others.

^^Apple products are world class..
many producers cannot match them, so they make lobbying against it..
Apple is expensive so many think that they are fooling, but before hanging them, one must fully see what features are different in Apple products than other makers..price is compatible to usability.

Why on earth one would want remove the battery. What one would want from the device is it's Usability. I am happy the way it is made for consumer. My 28 month old Aarav is at ease in using the iPod from scratch.. I guess many toddlers are able to play the game at ease.. That's what I call technology. For that in India of billion plus population, there are many who want it at any cost. Yes, am a fan of apple device for good reason.

You don't realise that these things have a finite life? That's why one would want to be able to remove and replace it.

Just how much of a disadvantage this is depends on how long their batteries last and how many recharges they take. I have one Cowon Portable Media Player with a non-replaceable battery. These days I only use it for planes and flights, which means it sits on the shelf most of the year. It is about five years old, and i haven't had any problems with battery life or charge, despite long periods of non use. If Apple's batteries are as good, then maybe it is not an issue. In principle, though, I'd say that a user-replaceable battery is one less worry for the customer, especially in an expensive piece of kit.

mikey, of course their products are "world class," although that is a piece of marketingese which doesn't really say much. They are masters of industrial design, without any doubt at all. Having said that, I wouldn't replace my relatively ugly Cowon with an Apple product, and I wouldn't load iTunes on my PC.

None of the reasons given are, in my [humble ] opinion, reasons to hate Apple. They are all reasons why particular individuals do not buy their products: they are valid for those people and the many that agree with them.

As to the characters behind these companies, all I can say is that it is a shame that the mass-market IT industry has no Mr Good! Jobs? Gates? The current MS buffoon? The bosses of the massive non-apple hardware companies? What's to choose between them?

It is astonishing that Nokia and the others have not managed to come anywhere near to rivalling the iphone. That is a sick situation for those companies. Equally, what's holding up the pads? There should be pads from every major manufacturer by now, and they should be competing by filling in the gaps Apple left. We can't blame Apple for what is lacking in others.

Personally, I have never owned an Apple product. They look great on the shelf, but, for various reasons, I don't buy, and probably never will. It's just one of those shops that I walk past, rather than into.

I think Apple is ambitious, but they shouldnt torture people at money for something, that isnt that price

And most things from windows dont work on iOS in Mac
Btw,The Mac's hardware config is pathetic compared to the others

Ill rather buy a dell Vostro 3700 @40k (which has better specs)rather than a MacBook pro @60k

apple just knows this.. big name beauty. and you can price it as much as you want

We Should stop buying things just to show off the "brands"
like FILA shoes are better than Nike @ half the price
but Still ppl buy Nike shoes just to show off the brands

^ absolutely correct.those are the people who are so much obsessed with the brand value that they will even wear their T shirts and shirts inside out to show off the tags.
BTW apple hardwares are over priced.one can get other brands at better specs any day at half the price and a whole world of compatibility compliance gets added too.

Infact sony's top end Mp3 players have better sound quality than Ipods

I love apple products and I have been using them for past 10 years. They are definitely superior in quality as a whole, and all the components are beautifully designed to run perfectly together. They are overpriced because most of their products are innovative in their applications and it usually takes their competitors 1 or 2 years to follow them.

thats just like common girls hate Kareena, Katrina, Aishwarya etc...
what i dont have, i will probably hate the person who has it, and then the thing itself..

in clear terms this is called "wtf-if-i-dont-have-it" complex..
