Oh yes, you Windows XP users using IE should watch out, as the article above says, please dont needlessly press F1 when a site asks you to.The vulnerability makes use of an interaction between VBscript and the help files of Internet Explorer. Once "F1" is pressed malicious code can be executed in the security context of the logged in user. This security issue only applies to users of Windows 2000, Windows 2003 Server, and Windows XP; Windows Vista and Windows 7 users are not affected. There is no word yet from Microsoft on what would occur if malicious code was executed using the vulnerability.
This is just one more incident that gives us more reason to look at other, much better browsers like Firefox and Chrome.
A huge percentage of computer users are using Windows and a very small percentage of them use Windows 7 and Vista. This means that a relatively large portion of users are still vulnerable to this threat.
So guys, please help others, post this on Facebook to help all your friends (stupid friends) .
PS: This bug effects ALL versions of IE, only if you are on Windows 7 or Vista, you are safe.
