A real time search result is one trend which has fascinated one and all. It is real time search that has skyrocketed twitter to being one of the best networking sites today. Bing and yahoo integrated real time updates in their search engine results and google was quick to follow.

Real time search or web means everything happening that very instant get uploaded or published next instant. Facebook, twitter, friendfeed are all real time time sources with twitter topping them all.

Real time updates are something really amazing, while it would take considerable amount of time for news websites online to do some research and publish a well put article about anything, but in real time you don’t have to wait you get all details as if you were present at the place where the event was happening. Like the recent generator blast during IPL 3 in Bangalore, there was no information available on news sites but twitter was budding with complete details of what was happening there. ( Bangalore for trending then) people said that there was a blast, next they tweeted saying it was just a generator blast not a terror one, next they said it was low intensity one, so well all it means was you got instant real time news, no axious waits, people whose friends had been to the match were relieved instantly knowing that the atmosphere inside stadium was unaffected.
Googles WAVE had real time too. When chatting with a person I noticed I could see every letter being typed and the person committing a thousand typos , I could see it all !

Real time search is only better and we would get news, information and stuff lot more faster,. Le Web '09 infact writes “this year's theme is... the real-time web. So watch that space.”

But real time does have its problems, it cannot be altogether useful until people find effective ways to filter out spammy updates and quality is separated off from quantity
