MBA-IT is alright. Basically, you'll be selling the products of some Anti-virus company, Hardware manufacturer etc after you complete it. If you develop good programming skills during the course, you may land up in a Blue chip company as Associate Software Engineer. Perhaps this is the only way for an Arts student to become an engineer. lol
However, if you just want to sell the products even of IT companies, I suggest that you choose Marketing instead of the IT stream. It will broaden the opportunities for you.
It's a myth that MBA-HR is good for girls. Boys can do well at it too. Assuming that you're a male, you'll have stiff competition as companies will be vying to pick up beautiful girls. If you've good communication skills, you can go ahead with the MBA-HR.
Good command on Maths is not required to do well in the MBA courses. Still you need to have nifty quantitative aptitude to crack the MBA entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT etc.
Bottomline is getting admission in a reputed college with good placement records. That's what it all matters for the MBA seekers. Skills, you can develop.
