I had been using AMD for last 2 years and i have never faced any problem with it and as you are saying of the over heating thing then my computer is on 24/7 as i keep downloading and i never faced any burning or over heating problem.

If your AMD processor is overheating, then check whether you are overclocking or maybe the fan+heat sink is not properly connected to the CPU. AMD processors do heat up more than Intel but that is not a cause for worry.

Default Intel Quadcore Processor. new?

Hello there,

may bee iam wrong but the Dual Intel® Quad-Core Xeon with 4 Cores each is not so new as you think. We use it at our Dedicated Servers (Dell Power Edge 2950) since March :-)

Default Intel still good !

I love this.
People seem to think AMD's current dominance over Intel is going to last forever. No one remembers when the Pentium 4 blew the pants off of the Athlon XP, though. Just when the Athlon 64 won against the Pentium 4.

I would like to go with Intel. I had been using Intel processor for a long time and i am very much satisfied with there performance and i am sure that AMD would not be able to compete Intel in next decade.
