I think with this Microsoft made themselves visible in almost all areas of computing technology, be it hardware, software, communication devices and now laptop too. Its battery backup is just unbelievable, as claimed by Microsoft it can last up to 12 hours which is a very good feature I think.

The only one complaint I have is its price for base model which is well beyond my reach ($1500!). But it is good bet for high class corporate officials who spend most of their time traveling. Hope the price will come down in future.

You are absolutely right @webworld. The price is unbeliveable I can only picture the rich or large corporations purchasing it. For the rest of us to purchase it, it will have to come down a whole lot. But, you are right it does have some great features.

The possibility of purchasing this product might take some time because of a high price. I think the product only deserves the pricing because of its worth. As what is mentioned here, the laptop is good enough based on its features, performance and even credibility of bring a Microsoft innovation.

The device itself might very well be worth the money but even so it's a very high and I wouldn't have thought that many people would be prepared to pay that kind of money, no matter how good it is.

And that's why I'd be surprised if this didn't come down in price dramatically and very quickly to be honest.

I dint think I know anybody that would pay that amount of money for this device, and although I'm sure they may have thought it was competitivly priced, it isn't as far as I can see.

Wow, a tablet cum PC from Microsoft looks promising. NVDIA is also a very good brand in providing GPUs to the devices.
Anyways, I feel pricing of the device would be a big factor to consider. A competitive and affordable price tag would be a reason to make it a hit show. To be honest, it's out of my budget and I won't be able to bring it home.
