Default Qualcomm being targeted now in South Korea

Texas Instruments and Broadcom are targeting the tech giants Qualcomm in the South Korean markets. They have now filed a complaint with South Korea’s antitrust watchdog claiming that Qualcomm is playing unfairly with the competition in this market.
TI and Broadcom have said that Qualcomm is misusing its market dominance in the mobile technology market to harm the competition through unfair practices.
The Fair Trade Commission (FTC) in South Korea confirmed that they have received this complaint from the two companies. They said: “Qualcomm was accused of selling its handset chips bundled with other chip products by using its market dominance.”
South Korean mobile market is dominated by CDMA technology based mobile phones. Qualcomm are the suppliers of this technology and charges a royalty for its usage.
TI and Broadcom are saying that Qualcomm is now misusing its position by bundling their newer multimedia chips with the CDMA chips in the market. This makes it hard for them to promote their own technologies in this market.
