Default Toshiba “face recognition” needs some improvement

Recently, Toshiba Corp. launched four new models (U400, M300, A300 and P300) of their Satellite Pro line which are available with face recognition as a standard security feature.
Face recognition may be something new to a normal PC user, but it is not a new technology. Face recognition was earlier used by many other companies in their different products but none of them got any success.
As to say and hear, this new feature may sound very good and interesting but the real life experiences are almost opposite. As per some reviews from the people who bought these new Toshiba laptops, found it really difficult to complete the face recognition process, as user has to move their head right, left and up, down in slow motion for almost one minute which is not that easy to do. After going through all this hassle, many users are still declined access to their computer. It has become really frustrating for a lot of people and majority of them like use the traditional password security feature over the new face recognition feature.
Although many manufacturers including Toshiba believe that this is comparatively a new technology which did not got to a good start, and as this new security feature is becoming more common, it is expected by many manufacturers that it would be improved and will definitely replace the password type security feature in the near future.
