Rep Power: 10 | Does anyone know when is Mtnl goin to start their 3g services? Bsnl guy said on television that Bsnl 3g services will be launched within 6 months.. hopefully mtnl will launch 3g soon. I need 3g very badly as it will give me a lot of freedom to move around coz as for now I am normally glued to me desktop  almost 24/7 |

Rep Power: 10 | Yes you are right these are two seperate matters. Once number portability starts I am sure call charges will come down again and there will be a grand price war between mobile phone service providers and due to this 3g serices will be very reasonably priced as well. |

Rep Power: 10 | No idea about the pricing but Mtnl Delhi will be the first one to launch 3g services as they already have their equipment all set to roll. It shouldnt take more then 3-4 months is what Ive heard. |

Rep Power: 10 | Mtnl Mumbai is going to take more then 6 months to launch their 3gservices because they have not even ordered their 3g equipment till date and Delhi has already got everything ready to roll. |
