Thread: World is now 828 meters high

Well, that is the latest. Burg Dubai aka Burj Khalifa is 2716.5 feet high. Every year, new sky scrapers are touching new heights. Burg Khalifa easily becomes world's highest architectural wonder. Build by Emaar properties, it was inaugurated on January 4, 2010. The height of the tower was a closely guarded secret till it was inaugurated last night witness by a crowd of around 4,00,000.
It is 320 metres taller than Taipei 101. Taipai 101 has a height of 508 metres.

The work to build this mamoth tower was start in 2004. It overtakes KVLY - TV mast located in North Dakota, USA. It has a height of 628.8 metres. Burg Dubai unvieles a series of world records. It has the highest occuipied floor in the world ( 550 metres ), highest outdoor observation deck ( 124), tallest service elevator (504 metres).


As it is a great challenge to keep the building clean, custom build cleaning machine units are set up for the tower, which only accessible for roped experts.

to add to information. Burj Dubai/Khalifa/faltoo_paisa is not open as some major fault is there in it electricity functions..
