US based airline manufacturer Boeing has won yet another mega order for their planes. Boeing has confirmed that they have received an order for 60 of its 737 jets from German airline Air Berlin.

The order is worth about $4.2 billion at list prices though the actual prices vary on the amount of discounts airline companies manage to get out of manufacturers.

This deal would add on to an existing order by the company for 10 planes. Air Berlin also recently acquired German carrier DBA which itself had placed 15 orders for 737s.

In all, Air Berlin would now be receiving 85 planes worth close to $5.7 billion at list prices. Boeing also had received a mega order for 25 passenger and freighter aircraft from Korean Air last week.
