World’s leading maker of mobile phones Nokia has said that they expect the world’s mobile market to grow to accommodate four billion mobile subscriptions by 2010.

Nokia’s chief executive Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo said in a statement on their predictions for the mobile phone market: “Mobile communications is once again changing even faster than many of us have predicted, and we are still far away from this being a mature market.”

He further said: “The Internet has transformed the way we live our lives and communicate with each other, and we expect it to play a key role in the next phase of Nokia’s growth.”

The company has just expanded their cooperation with the internet giant Yahoo! to provide a wider range of internet services on their upcoming mobile devices.
