Rep Power: 3  |  Motorola launches MOTOFONE in India US based tech giant Motorola has launched their low-cost mobile handset MOTOFONE in the Indian market. The company is competing with market leaders Nokia in India and is hoping to generate more sales from the low end of the market. Motorola added that they would be further launching this phone in their other markets in the coming weeks. US should get this phone before the end of the year. Steve Lalla, general manager of Motorola’s mass-market phone unit spoke about this new phone: “It is an opportunity to bring in new consumers to the marketplace.” The company added that the phone is user friendly and it makes it easier for new users to place a call and retrieve messages by using local languages and symbols as well as text. |
