| CNBC has re-launched their own website on Monday after ending a five-year agreement with Microsoft Corp.’s MSN Money. The website features more video content and other editorial content as they aim to become a popular destination for financial news on the internet. The media group had ran their own website from 1998 to 2001 before entering into a collaboration with software giant Microsoft. A premium access to the website is also available which costs $9.95 per month. Through this, consumers would now have access to archived video and live feeds from CNBC channels in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Mark Hoffman, CNBC’s president added that they have hired more people to run this website though he did not reveal the investments in this project now that they are separate from Microsoft’s joint venture. |
