Thread: Gtalk Integration in Orkut Gets Better

We are using Orkut but we do not like slow loading to gtalk in the orkut that puts us live in Orkut. So thats why most of peoples uses gtalk software but now your experience will change with it.Google has introduced many many new features in it.Google has made some improvements to the Gtalk integration within Orkut to make it fully spam free and more intelligent.

Google mentions in their official blog post that they have come up with a formula that automatically predicts which of your Orkut friends you probably want to chat with, and only tells those people that you're signed into Google Talk. This automatic filtering of contacts is dependent on our account activity, recent scrap conversations and the category of friends you have added the person to.


If one of my friend has a recent scrap history with me then he would be able to see me online because Google thinks you will obviously want to chat with him. But this is not a good if i do not want to see online into someone with whom you had a not-so-memorable recent scrap conversation. That`s why Google has also intoduced the option to customize and change our contacts and their priority and you will have the final say on who will be able to see you online.

The enhancements also enable you to chat within an open Orkut window. These tools though have not been fully implemented in all accounts as of now. you can live video chat with your friends too.

So just enjoy new and smart gtalk plugin in orkut..........

Google mention a many of the facility and also provide many of the functionality for what are the change and additional. Gtalk is also one good part to connect the people to sharing the riview. It also connected on mobile so you can also use in your mobile also.its also fast to compaire the orkut.

either use orkut on a browser, or use a messenger which supports orkut..

btw i think orkut is running on same server as gtalk runs now.. so nothing is different..
