Tata Consultancy Services to hire around 30,000 professionals this year
Indian IT major Tata Consultancy Services has said that they are planning to hire as many as 30,000 professionals this year alone. The company would be hiring people in all their centers around the world and not just in the Indian market alone.
TCS plans to hire as many as 7500 people in Tamil Nadu this year. The company has already made a record number of placements. They have made more than 2,000 offers in the last 10 days across 16 colleges in Tamil Nadu for these placements.
They would also be visiting 15 more campuses for hiring and expects to complete the operation in about 20 more days. This is good news for the youth of India who are just getting out of college with their graduation degrees.
TCS said that the compensation offered was 10 per cent more than last year’s offer and they would be increasing the average pay of their current workers by around 15 per cent this year.
