Tata Consultancy Services aiming to double revenues from Latin American market
Tata Consultancy Services has said that they are aiming to double their revenues emerging from the growing Latin American market. The aim is to achieve revenues of $100 million now that they have clinched two more deals from this region.
N Chandrasekaran, executive vice-president and global head (sales and operations), TCS spoke about their plans: “The company’s revenues from Latin American markets stood at around $50 million during the last financial year and we expect to double this year. We expect to finalize a couple of deals — one from financial sector — from Brazil shortly.”
Not many details were revealed on their ongoing talks with companies in the region but TCS already has established their presence in this market with their deal with ABN Amro last year.
TCS already employs 2,532 people in the region and are looking to raise this figure to around 3000 professionals in the coming months.
