Rep Power: 10  |  EMC Corp. to double its investment in India EMC Corp. to double its investment in India US based data storage company EMC Corp. has said that they are going to double its investment in India to US$500 million. This investment would be made in India in the next four years as the company aims to boost local sales and expand its Indian research facility. EMC is also aiming to double its staff to 1,600 by 2008. Most of these hiring would be done for their research center based in Bangalore. The company is increasing its investment in India looking at the revenues they are gaining from this market. EMC has gained more than 350 customers since the company opened its first liaison office in late 2000. |
