Fiat having an awesome year
Fiat was struggling to survive just a few years ago. However, the company has worked hard and now they are well on track to exceed the 2006 unit sales target for its auto division.
The company has done so well till now that even if things go dull in the coming months, they should be able to achieve the targets easily.
Fiat Chief Executive Sergio Marchionne said in a statement: “I think it is going to be a good year for the car business for us. We are going to exceed our internal projections in terms of volume generated.”
He added: “South America is doing incredibly well, so I am relatively confident, based on what I know today about the performance. We have got some room to try taking a slackening in demand.”
However, India continues to remain one huge market where they have failed to impress the local customer base.
