Quote:
The countdown for the launch of Isro’s PSLV C-9 that will put into orbit a total of 10 satellites on Monday, began at 07.23am on Saturday.

India will put into orbit the remote sensing satellite, Cartosat-2A, along with a microsatellite and eight nanosatellites belonging to Canada and Germany, Indian Space Research Organization (Isro) officials said.

The Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV), on its 13th flight, will launch the 690-kg Cartosat-2A and the 83 kg Indian Mini Satellite (IMS-1). The cartographical satellite will be placed in a 653-km high polar sun-synchronous orbit.
