I think this same query was raised somewhere else as well.i culd not find it though.if somebody can link it to me,i will delete this thread.

what is the best option for a free web-hosting service with the following features:
2gb storage
10gb bw
2 subdomain
2 mysql,
php5 with safe-mode OFF,
ftp,
1 mail,
1 addon domain would be nice.
cPanel with php_send mail enabled.

btw reliable free hosting with 2 gb space and cpanel is almost impossible

actually i a looking to run the site for a month on free hostin.depending on the reponse,i plan to shift to semi-dedicated hosting..
the site you mentioned has many options.2gb limit with cpanel is very common.infact there are free sites like freehost10 and heliohost that provide 5gb 10gb free hosting.but the catch is they have php safe mode turned on which raises an error eveytime i try to install vbulletin.

it will be a forum where i expect around 100 posts in all,daily.is 2gb overkill??
i am not sure.i dont want to be in a situation where after 26 days my space has run out...

U should ask admin about this...but I think 200-300 mb is enough for a discussion board
