Thread: How to choose your bank account

I prefer a saving account in nationalised bank like SBI & Axis bank for regular monthly use. I dont enjoy the idea of putting my saving in private banks that invest more in market, makes me uneasy.
Although if for investment then its different issue.

Recheck AXIS bank is private.

All S/B accounts upto to a limit of Rs One Lakh
is insured for each individual's account.
( Also Fixed Deposits)
You will not loose your money, as PVT banks are also paying Deposit Insurance.
ReCheck with your nearest Private Bank.
Some ( also IOB etc ) also insure you for Personal Accident Benefit for Rs 1 Lakh
for a premium of Rs 10/= per year.
