Any guesses how old is Internet? J.C.R. Licklider from the Massachusetts of Technology was the first to propose in 1962 computers with global network. He passed on the proposal to it on to t further to (DARPA) Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency to develop his proposal. The basis of Internet connections – the theory of packet switching was first developed by Leonard Kleinrock. Stephen Croker and Vinron Cerf, on 2nd September’1969 was the day when the these two graduates from the University of California Los Angeles by using cable of 15 foot to link two computers. After linking two large computers with the thick cable they tested this new way of exchanging data. January’70 three more nodes got added to this network. ARPANET, packet switching network, was the earliest idea which made possible general communication between various computer users.
