Today faster and cheaper services are available to the consumers compared to ISDN. When it comes to ISDN a basic ISDN line which was also called ISDN-BRI was used. One had to use the ISDN terminal adapters or the modems to bond two or more separate ISDN-BRI lines. One could use the ISDN bonding technology for video conference and high-speed data transmission. This was the most common way to internet access in the 90’s, but today it is not most commonly used as it is slow and there is problem in accessibility too. You may be surprised to find that it is still used in many small towns in India.
