Wii is one of the most popular gaming consoles by Nintendo in today's date. The name Wii is actually pronounced as we, and it actually competes with the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 consoles.
One of the amazing features of Wii is that is that it has a wireless controller, which can detect movement in three different dimensions. Above all the Wii console allows its users to receive updates and messages over the Internet while its on a standby mode!

This is as much as i know, but i would love to hear from others too!

Wii is cheaper than both xbox360 and PS3

So it outsold both these consoles even though it was released late

i am still on my PS2 with broadband(with my brother who plays and beats me in the other room)

Thats because the graphics that Wii employs is far inferior to that of PS3 and Xbox360 ....
Both ps3 and xbox360 employ superior Processors , Graphics card , Blu Ray Drive[PS3] and HD DVD drive[Xbox360]

So its costlier than wii ....PS3 is the costliest among the 3

wii
Its more advanced because it uses a new "Virtual reality" based gameplay
