Sony has always been wearing the crown of being the leader of music phones. But now it has to share its power with Nokia. Nokia had launched its XpressMusic series with lot of attention to music features in the phone like Sony Walkman series. The new Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is a quad band phone that runs on 2G network of GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and 3G network of HSDPA 900/2100.

This high advanced phone has features which would leave you enthralled all over as it is demonstrated. Being called Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, the mid range phone emphasizes a lot on music features. The phone measures 111 x 51.7 x 15.5 mm, and weighs just 109 g. The display of this music phone is 3.2 inches TFT touchscreen which gives you the real pleasure of watching videos on it. The 16 M color of the screen provides better view of colors and good resolution. The gadget is equipped with proximity sensors for auto trun off and accelerometer sensor for auto rate.

The XpressMusic phone is equipped with handwriting recognition software. Thus like OCR you ca use this software to quickly convert some written data into a document. The phone being a music phone is equipped with stereo speakers. The card slot of the phone can take 8GB card for storage of music and other data. I am waiting for this phone to be lauched it India. I think I will be launched this month. Also heard that it will cost something around Rs 20,000.
