Nokia 1202 is the new announcement from the mobile giant. The phone is a two band phone which would support GSM network of 900/1800 only thus making it limited phone for roaming. The color phone is expected to come soon in the market. Nokia have made some changes here and there in some of the old models and came out with this new Nokia 1202. The phone measures 105.3 x 45 x 13.1 mm, 61.8 cc and weighs 78g only.

Users can get a taste of colorful themes and good wall papers on this monochrome graphic phone. The phone is equipped with polyphonic ring tones, and there is not Mp3 ringtones in it. The phone book has limited entries of 200 contacts and a record of just 20 received, missed and dialed calls. Such features are not expected to draw a large attention, but this phone has been launched to attract those people who cannot afford to spend large sum of money on their phones. They want to be content with the use of phone for calling and messaging. The 1.3 inches TFT color screen is perfect to display images of great quality.

The Nokia 1202 is equipped with no entertainment features in it. The phone is completely a blank slate when it comes to connectivity, web access, entertainment and others. There is no card slot, data GPRS, EDGE, 3G or WLAN. The gadget is not even equipped with USB port, Bluetooth, or infrared port. The only feature of the phone is messaging. You cannot browse the web. There are installed games of Nokia like Snake, Shooting games and others.

Nokia 1202 is available in colors like black, violet blue and silver gray. The remarkable features of the phone are flashlight, calendar, T9, calculator, currency converter, Built in hands free and battery back up of 8 hours.
