Thread: 3gp problem on nokia 3110c

last night i came across an surprisingly new problem..

i cannot view converted 3gp video files( those converted by any converter like format factory or free 3gp converter)..And when i load the thing on memory card, and when i want to see it in the folder memory card\\videos, the phones restarts itself, giving a fatal error ofcourse

i was converting a wmv file to 128*96, 3gp (which i was easily able to play on my phone earlier..) i tried to convert it in different aspects like high quality, low quality, amr nb, wb etc etc, but didnt got success..

first , i thought it was any memory card problem( my card was 127mb of 998mbs) i took out aac files from the mobile, which were making up some 60 mb, and also took out Republic day videos( i made them on Repb. day from Tv) which made the rest...
but still i couldnt make it out

i know its a format error, when i deleted this newly converted 3gp from mobile , i saw that not just everything was ok, but also the other videos ( mobile's own made vids,) were playing nicely, as before...


is it a conversion problem( but i never had it earlier, i almost saw all Ocean's on the mobile)
or is it a program error in the phone's os?

please help me out, and if someone knows the proper 3gp format for Nokia 3110c do mention it too...
