Here I am posting reviews of those Nokia phones i came across in life..

The thread will start with Basic nokia phones, merits-demerits.
Please do no post, off topic, i will feel really very bad.




Nokia 2280 CDMA (Reliance Telecom) : Papa took this healthy handset under the Karlo Duniya Mutthi mein scheme of Reliance in 2004(Earlier he had a bulky Motorola set from Escotel).. The phone had inbuilt browser, and was Black-white screened.
Phones body was made of finest plastic, had recording and voice tag functions.
Was a non-sim phone otherwise i would have loved to use it..
Untill 2007 phone's keypad gave answer to forgive from further usage.

Nokia 2100: This phone was purchased in 2004 by Brother,..

The phone was a basic B-W screened, had advanced features like picture editing software in it. Call forwarding, picture messages etc.
The phone was dipped mistakenly by him while washing clothes into washing machine, came out undead.
A very hard life phone with freak chip inside that never dies.

He lost it in Delhi.

Nokia 2630 : Another die hard phone.
My brother purchased it in replacement of his 2100(That he loved very-very much)
The phone has a color screen, with nice games, F.M and is healthy and weighty phone. Though silver color of this phone was not my type of choice. But i really liked its voice clarity and other features like in call timers.

Nokia 1600 :My first phone.

I was a non-mobile user till 2007(i used Papa's and Brother's though- but when communication started with my love, i had to purchase it

Very basic, freakingly die hard phone. Fell from my hands a many times, still no scratches. Voice clarity, call forwarding, colored screen, good themes that suites your eyes, good games viz. Cricket, Carrom, Football. , great loudspeaker, and finest battery back..

I am still using the phone and will use it till 2G ends in the world.

Nokia N72 : Though i purchased the phone, but now it lives with my Maa.

Review for this famous phone is worthless but i will like to add some.
The phone (comparatively slower though) has a S60 O.S and many great features, like Flash enabled camera, One can use it as webcam using mobiola, music player is great, real player, video recording in mp4 format which is better than 3gp, java & .sis softwares/games are runnable on this phone.
Though the phone supports external memory card(MMC TYPE) but i got first card corrupt(reason still unknown)

I found the phone to be too slower in processing, but N72 is really a different experience.

Nokia 3500


My Maa's new phone. Pink colored, i gifted her on Birthday.

The phone is a good, musical-camera phone. Has a nice 1.3 mp camera(Takes nice pics in Night mode) and great looks.
Plays java heap sizes upto 600-700kbs very flawlessly. Nice inbuilt games.

I have used the phone as internet modem at roof, untill she shouted on me, and till i purchased my Nokia 3110 c.

Nokia 3110c : My current phone-cum- modem


I am freak about this phone,. I am really a fan of my N1600 and 3110c.

This phone 3110c is a black bar phone, 74 gms (i measured it) healthy and die hard machine.
I am amazed that Nokia made this beautiful phone with so nice features in this very economical range.

The phone has a very brave music player that plays mp3, wma, aac, eaac files with all charm.
I am playing wma sound on it. Earphones of this phone are best ones i came across. Though my music needs are less, but i am enjoying this phone alot.

The phone plays 3gp and mp4 videos.
It has a 2gb expandable memory function, so one can purchase a good co. card(Like Kingston/Sandisk etc) and put much media.

Right now i have atleast 1.1 Gb of media in the phone(of which 500mb is wma music & rest is some video albums and my own images and videos).

The phone camera is 1.3 mp but not much comparable to that of Nokia 3500, but its good. Music player is best..

Internal modem gives a far descent speed than one's dial up and no problem ever occurred on its processing cause of my hours of net.

Nokia 2626 : Good featured phone but slow processing.

This phone i purchased last year in October, majorly for its F.M. Nokia 3110c's radio is not very sensitive. The phone supports colored screen, java, fm, gprs, mms.
I really didn't like this phone. The inbuilt memory was too low(some 3Mbs)
and slow processing made the phone dumb.

Though gprs browser and java playability was a good feature.

I even chatted using softwares like mig33 and ebuddy on it.

Nokia 2700c ;My recent purchase.
The design of this phone is great, looks are brilliant. My this phone has good browser, opera mini is inbuilt, Music player and a camera of 2mp rock.

Though the phone is i think, is little expensive, but looking at the features, i must convey a better mid range phone..

I haven't used it much right now, but will definitely like to use it.

The phone has all the functions as i told in Nokia 3500 and 3110c.

Looks like a slider.But is a beautiful bar.

Nokia 1202 :This phone is purchased for my worker from Delhi,.
Rs. 1300/- phone(till last month)
B-W phone with midi ringtones, good battery back, big call and standby time, incall timer, torch.

I am using it sometimes for different sims.

Any problems/queries/suggestions with your Nokia s40 phones, regarding music, camera, internet modem(how to use it, problems regarding it) you can add to this thread.

Nokia 2700c doesnt allow to browse from inbuilt browser...when you click browser opera mini opens...
