Thread: Problem with Nokia 3110c

I have been using nokia 3110c from last 2 years. it fell down from door(dhadam se ) ( ~ 6.5 feet) because i had to keep it there for getting Aircel network for internet

now since the phone fell around 5-6 times its memory card reader was retired hurt
i took it to the mobile doc, who is one of my friends.. he did make it ok, but now the phone has started to raise some problems for me..

1. sometimes shows memory card , sometimes doesnt.
2. when i play music(on music player) the phone reboots after say 1 minutes.
3. when play music directly( not by music player) phone reboots but though less times..
4. memory card is ok.
5. nothing inside phone memory(inbuilt) i kept inbuilt memory to 300-400 kbs only..deleted all stuff using file manager.


Please kindly help me, i took it to the service centre and they said" why dont you update the phone firmware", when i ask them to do, they say "we have to keep the phone, on which i am reluctant."

at home my internet is not trustable, i never did firmware upgrade ever.

TRy factory restore or flash your phone with latest firmware

Hey what can be the selling price of a two year old phone?its now 3110c. Excellent condition. "Bas kisi tarah nikaalna hai"

For firmware update u need service software and Interface box with security dongle.Like Universal box, MT-box , JAF or MX-key.If u are not repairing tech.
contact nearest mobile repair shop.
