Thread: Problem with Apps in Nokia 6600 Slide

Hi i am facing a problem with applications which uses internet in my nokia 6600 slide phone. for example - i have apps like nimbuzz, yahoo (which comes default with nokia phone) etc.. i tried to use them & connect them using gprs (already activated as i can browse through default nokia browser), but they just down gets connected to internet. also i tried to use opera mini but there also i face the same problem, it just doesnt get connected, but as i said i can browse using nokia phones default browser..
pls help

Go to setting>configurations>no1 option >select your provider from the list. For ex if idea use idea or if airtel choose airtel>click ok
click second option in configuration>activate default for all applications

click third option in config>choose access point from the list>click ok.
I hope it works. If your accesspoint is not in the company list. Enter it manually or ask from care.

BSNL>BSNLLIVE.COM
aircel>aircelgprs

to enter the above access points manually go to last option in your config under settings i.e personal config.
Click select. Add new. Click web and enter the above accesspoint. Give them name as i did. And don forget to click activate when you have entered everything. Click add new accesspoint for your applications.
Enter above details. And click activate. Come back and choose your option from the list prescribed above.

And yes if the above thing works dont forget to say thanks cause i have taken pains by writing with a mobile itself.

there are already there, like i use voda gprs so in 1st & 3rd option voda gprs is already there & i already did the 2nd step.. but i dint worked

ask the vodafone customer care to send you settings again..(maybe they are old hutch sets)...

also see if the application is set to use internet,,..
click select button when you are on a app. click aplication access, communication, network access, ...set it to ask first time...
