Consumers can get their Nokia E7 by making a pre-order booking by logging on to Nokia India - Nokia E7 - Smartphone with touch screen & QWERTY and filling an online form, along with the preference of the nearest Nokia Priority store. The concerned store will call registered consumers within 24 hours with further details of the handset and the offer. Consumers can then secure their Nokia E7 units by depositing a booking amount of Rs. 3,000/- at the store.

What is your opinion of the phone ? I'm considering buying it ... really need a proper keyboard for typing out emails !

Looking to buy a new phone. Can't decide between E7 and N8. BTW what's the E7 price?

Between Nokia E7 and Nokia N8, I believe that Nokia N8 is a much better device because of it better higher resolution display and a much better camera. If your really need to type/text a lot and need full time email access then Nokia E7 makes sense, otherwise for movies, music, photos and videos, Nokia n8 is the best.

correct N8 has better much better camera quality (12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics) than E7 -it has only 8 mega pixel camera.
But E7 is best for Music and video lovers. so decide your priority and select best for you.

I would suggest N8 over E7. if you are thinking E7 for its QWERTY keyboard I would say with swype installed in my N8 I can type as fast as my previous E63
