No other phone manufacturer can beat Nokia at this stage. Nokia phones are far more superior then all the others available.

Iphone is not a mobile phone its more of a joke.. Its just 16 year old kids who go after such phones.. any one grown up would never ever need the crap which is available on an iphone.

The only two buttons I use on a daily basis on my mobile phones are two : Red one and the green one and the rest are only used when I dial a new number which I dont have saved already.

For clicking pictures I have a camera and for music I have a system in my car and I dont like walking around with ear phones pluggen into my ear ... I would feel like an idiot

A mobile phone is a device used to make and recieve calls and anything addition which really makes any sense is blackberry.. Iphone doesnt come anywhere near these two things when it comes to value for money and usability.

I agree iphones will sell in India coz we have a huge amount of unemployed youth here who kno how to bug their parents for the latest gadget in the shops.

I personally like the zoom in feature they have on the iphones but then if you carry around your laptop where ever you go it makes little sense to get an iphone..

Wht exactly is so good about the iphone? apart from the excelent marketing they are doing at apple.

I completely agree with Admin.

I persuaded my good friend to lend me his iPhone for a day when I was in US. As far as a device is concerned it is quite good (and maybe 'cool' too). I liked the feature of 'sliding your finger across the touchscreen' to flip to next photos, next page, etc.

My main use for a cell phone is basic telephony. And as a telephone iPhone was not up to the mark - especially to dial out. The sound quality and antenna signal catching ability was weak (when compared to a normal cell phone). SMS'ing is difficult on iPhone. The whole phone becomes smudged with finger prints and looks dirty very soon.

I have an O2 XDA IIi (HTC made device). I felt that iPhone had hardly anything more to offer other than probably a slightly sleeker interface and better camera. I also use a simple Nokia 1110 for my other cell phone (office line) and I am much pleased with that phone than my O2.

Other may disagree but I would strongly recommend all of you to do a cost/benefit analysis before you plunge your 20K+ into an iPhone. It will be a great buy at 9K to 13K but anything more is money wasted.

Apart from all that, the poll question is wrong ...

"Will Nokia launch iPhone?" - Why should Nokia luanch iPhone - a competitor's brand.

Nokia has the N95 which is also too much hyped and over priced.

Do you know the Apple iphone feature. Apple iphone memory is 8GB $199 & 16 GB $ 299 (In India I think cost of apple iphone will Rs. 20,000) at in other country means Rs. 8500 & Rs.12,500& Nokia N95 is mobile phone come with 8 GB price is Rs. 25,000.

There is difference between mobile phone. Apple iphone feature is more than N 95.

Nokia brand is popular only in India. In foreign country peoples are waiting for Apple iphone.

Hey, perhaps you did not read my earlier post. I have used the iPhone for two full days and fully explored it. It is no doubt quite good but IMHO too much overhyped.

The user interfaces may be different but there is hardly a feature that is available in iPhone that is not available in N95. And I also said that N95 is equally overpriced. The N95 may be 25K in India but iPhone is being rumoured to be at the same price. In other countries, the N95 is much cheaper.

You need to really have an introspection. Nokia controls nearly 50% of the worldwide market and not just India.

What I said in my comment is - Why should Nokia luanch iPhone? It cannot.

U r right that man really need an introspection..lolz..Nokia is only popular in India...how can anyone even say that?? he is really amazed with that 8gb memory of IPhone may be he is looking for a pocket pc.. dude go for the HCL Mileap if u really need that kinda feature...HTC is better option and blackberry rocks...yes that much hyped Iphone is gaining some of the market share.. The next company that stands to fall might be Nokia. But nokia is still the top SMARTphone company worldwide ..being a fan of nokia's products i would suggest HIM to read the following:
"Nokia had 45.2 percent of the worldwide market in the first quarter2008, followed by Research in Motion, Ltd., the maker of BlackBerry, with 13 percent, and the Apple's iPhone (first generation), with 5 percent, was third, Gartner said."

I would really like to know what exactly would anyone use 8gb memory on a phone for!

Nokia is liked around the world and is the no1 mobile phone selling brand world wide. Nokia has the best handsets available and is miles ahead of competetion.

iPhone is a peice of crap and I dont find it usefull atall.. Its something college going kids might like so they can flash it infront of others.... its nothing but just another peice of bling bling.

What exactly is so good about an iphone? I dont even like the idea of the whole thing being a screen and I cant carry that brick in my pocket any way and having to worry about breaking the screen all the time.

cheers to the Admin!! Hip Hip Hurray!! U Rock!! That is so true what u said about that stupid iphone bcos my nokia 1600 went into the washing machine and got such a rough washup & spinup and its still working perfect just like 1 yr back. i bet the iphone cant beat that!! now can it?

it wud wear and tear in one shot if it fell. and dont be surprised if u find that it looks smaller and slimmer than u imagined barely being able to hold it in ur hand properly.

forget abt givin Iphone a machine's spin just give a manual spin and that Super delicate one will be a crap...

one may need a 8/16 gb phone only for few purposes i hope..one is clicking snap of everyone he find on way and to fill it up with lots of kiddy games..some videos to show them to frnds jus to show off...oh 24hrs of 1st day ends now what to do 7/15 gb still available

we need a mobile phone coz we need to communicate when we are not at home.. for MOBILE MUSIC there is IPODs, MP3 Players...and for 10000 bucks one can have an eight MP camera...so why to waste 20-25000 for a phone having MP3/MP4, and few MP camera huh...

ADMIN is right iphone is for those who want to flash it off and take my words if you really want to show off go and get a NOKIA VERTU nothing can beat its elegance...huh
