Default Beware of Online Job Scams

Some of us are desperate to find some online jobs to make some quick money. We surf the internet everyday for hours together hoping to find some reliable methods of making money online. While making such searches you will come across thousands and thousands of websites that will promise to make you a millionaire in 30 days. Some of them will tell you can make $5000 in a week, some will tell you that you do not have to work at all but you can still make hundreds of dollars everyday using their system. There are other websites that will tell you that you need to work just one or two hours a day to make thousands of dollars every month.

Before signing up with any of the websites you just need to ask yourself, if making money online is so easy then why are there so many people still searching for reliable methods to make money online. It is true that there are hundreds of ways by which you can make money online. However, you need to remember that there are no short cuts. The internet has a tremendous potential to bring money to us however, all the methods will require you to put in some hard work. If you have the required knowledge certain online jobs will be little easier than the others. Besides that, all of them will require you to plan well, work hard and be consistent with your efforts. Above all, you need to have patience. You will not be able to make money overnight.

For instance, there are number of websites that claim to have secrets that will make you rich through adsense revenue. Not all the information they call secrets are really secrets. All the information is already available in Google’s official site on adsense. Therefore, you must be careful before spending any money online; you might be paying for something that is already available free of cost.

Another scam that is common is websites that tell you can make money online by reading emails and taking part in online surveys. They make you pay but give you nothing but a list of websites where you have to go and register yourself. You will be sent surveys as and when they are available and most of the highly paid surveys are limited to US citizens or other European countries. Not all the surveys that are open for global users pay you money directly but they will just make you eligible to become part of draws that have prizes. We hardly hear from anyone that they have won any such prizes.

Therefore, do not rush into send any payments. Use only reputed websites. Making money through Adsense is a proven method and thousands of Indians are making money through adsense. Moreover, the payments are regular; you just need to promote your adsense blog or adsense website so that you get enough visitors to your website, which is the secret of making money through adsense.

Yes. You are really right about that. :thumbup1:
And, many users do fall prey for all those scams. It is really up to ourselves to save us. We have to be very careful while opting to make money online.

The rel bad part of falling in a scam is that, some, after they fall prey to scams, start spamming others, maybe as a revenge, or because they think that scamming is the only way through which they could earn some good amount of money from the internet. That's a really bad part of it.

Can we do something about that, to protect the coming generations of internet users?

Ditto here. I also learned it the hard way. There was no one to guide me at that time.
I had to learn everything myself.
But, that has up to an extent come to me as good.
Otherwise, I wouldn't have found the value of IBB and my dears here.:crying:

Does this apply to websites which claim to act as middle men in connecting job seekers with their clients who have specific computer problems ?

    Hm.....
Some of them might be scams.
But, one cannot believe all the job opportunities, even those which are listed in reputed sites, because they cannot check all their listings.
But, usually, one can identify a genuine job by oneself. A genuine job provider mostly gives you contact information or any other type of support.
