Planning a joint group blog I'm planning a new group blog or Joint Venture with 5-6 writers.
1. My main idea is to start a tech/gadget/news blog where all the writers will write around 15-20 posts a month.
2. Promote the blog.
3. All the revenue will be split equally among the partners.

Interesting idea, but how are you going to get hold of the gadgets for reviewing?

Lets making one thing clear, COPY PASTING IS ILLEGAL AND OFCOURSE ITS CALLED CHEATING BUT if YOU WRITE ANYTHING IN YOUR OWN WORDS IT ISN'T CHEATING. THAT'S THE WAY ALL THE TECH BLOGS SURVIVE.

yeah, this is true.
I went through the websites and online journals of many techos (who have a big name in online publishing)and i saw their articles had very less differences apart the western ones.
Its all about little literatural and grammatical hand,this is what it needs

Besides the group blog is not only on gadget review, it's writing on anything you are passionate about...such as bollywood, hollywood, intenet, local news etc.
Thats the whole idea they dont buy anything, most of the stuff comes as demo pieces which have to be returned....
Something like samples pieces ...
Only the big blogs like engadet and few others get such luxury.

Not yet, presently cool_techie_tvm and mail2sc are onboard. When few more people join we will have a group chat and decide on the domain.nice idea

Thats not what you call cheating, as you would be rephrasing reviews into your own words.
To write a review you dont need to have the product!
Its a pretty cool idea..
Whose name is the domain going to be in? whose adsense account would you use?
What would stop you from telling your partners to F*** off once the blog is established and you start getting enough revenue that you can employ a few people to do the content writing?
I am not trying to put people off from your blog.... Just my 2 cents for those who are joining

Good Wishes from my side too and its a great idea to start a group blog but do mind the points specified by admin as you may like to get the return of job which you are doing, eveyone don't like to work for satisfaction without getting paid.
Do look from where you are getting first hand funds to erect this webspace. These days starting up a webspace is easy but running and maintaining it can cost you few hundred or thousand hours.

Presently there are 2 more people involved including me. The domain can be registered by anyone after deciding on a good name.
When the blog starts earning revenue we will split and there will be no F*** off and I believe we should have a certain amount of trust in people for starting out such Joint Ventures.
