If you have a site, a small one and you plan to register it with adsense, what should you plan?

Heard that you need to have some traffic before you register. And clicks just after a few days of registration won't count. is it true?

How much they pay for a click, is it same for all ads? Minimum amount for withdrawal?

What about yahoo ads, do they pay more than Google.

How do you promote your site, back links and all. Any advice is more than welcome.

I am not earning anything with adsence. Insted I tried Bidvertizer.

Bidvertizer works well with my site. Even I got ads from CJ.

The terms and conditions of yahoo ads are not as strict as that of google.

All clicks do not earn the same. It depends on the topic. For each topic, value is different. Usually highly paying ones, that i have observed are stuff like fashion , porn, etc.

Have a look at the adword tool to see what kind of topics pay more.

I am a total noob, but i have read quiet a bit. The best way to start is obviously via backlinks.But In my case, i get a good number via google and yahoo search(about 25-30%).

You can also write articles in other places and backlink them to your site. You can even try yahoo answers and give backlinks to your site when ever needed.

Try to divert traffic from high traffic site to your own.

I have earned $0.00 as my application got rejected 2 times. First, bcos of inadequate site content and second time bcos of "incorrect address" (but the address was correct !)

I will probably not apply again.


you can also earn through ebay and amazon. But thats very hard.

This sounds a bit weird as i am giving advice to my guru ji dilip . I hope it helped.
