Thread: online jobs are they for real ???

Iam a student with a lot of free time so i have tried some online work from home online jobs, but i have never had any success
Most of these so called jobs ask for some one time registration fee and some include referring friends, some are data entry jobs, some require u to read mails , n lots of spam-my and scam-my stuff !
Have you ever had success with these kind of jobs ??
I guess best way to earn online is to blog and get an ad sense account or find a sponsor!
Also writing articles and pay per post type of sites are good too, though i have never tried such sites . But a better way to earn meaningfully online is participate in contest there are quite a number of contests on especially for indians.
I registered to this earn by receiving sms (mginger) about 9 months back but all it did was spam my inbox ! But what astonishes me is the number of sites available online for so called earn from home jobs just google and you will find atleast thousands of them ! !0 minutes into surfing and you know these are good for nothing jobs
please reply if u have different opinion on the so called work from home or cafe jobs !

There are many sites offering free online jobs.....
Sadly they are all scam sites..........

This is the first result you getwhen you google for free online jobs........
Truth is this is the number one fraud site..........

They have stated at the home page that they will send Online data entry forms to their members but since last 3 years they are just collecting personal info of "innocent and unaware" Indians and later on they send spam to promote their different fraud e books instead of sending forms. majority of these kinds of sites are fraudulent, so its something you should not go for!

I think the best way is as you wrote your own website or blog and google ads or some other kind of ads which you are paid for. There are many kind of ads to choose from. Sometimes you are paid for number of clicks, sometimes for number of views or number of days when the ad is on your website and sometimes you are paid only when somebody buy something from the website you advertise. The most common and reliable ads is google adsense but there are many other companies, affiliates programs to choose from and which are reliable as well.

The difficult part is to get them pay you..... Even if you promote traffic in your sites, they are very reluctant to pay you....

Most of the sites are fraud but there are few sites where you can get work and money both. For that you've to have paypal account. Just Google "Freelancer jobs".

These days you have to provide a PAN account number if you are from India to register Paypal............

I use few PTC sites, they do pay, but pay is very low, so hardly any earning, its like 1.2$ a month.

I never believed to that online jobs now,because they only promising you high raised money earn within an hour and in return if you believed them they will earn to you.

i agree that most of these sites are fraud but not every.

i work for a website and it pays me every month on time.

when i joined them they clearly said me that dont think you will become a millionaire in one month or you will be able to earn thousands of dollars by working for one hour a day.

They pay me that much so i can pay my broadband bill.

i am not telling you about your website or something..i hope you just to the points i mention.. i mean no harm to your business, its all yours.. just want you to be clear..

1. its always handy to know the background of a business like that.
2. the fund they raise from your home-pc job that could be either big small whatever, the thing is about knowing , to whom they are linked .
3. how legitimate they are when it comes about "Rinsing the money.."
4. how many times of the year have they asked you to "One time payment" for maintenence.
5. going through of how much you have in your cpanel, the time you have given to the site. what credit you should have achieved in lieu to what you have given to them for that money.

what i mean in all is to know how legitimate is their business. i have a problem of generalising all businessmen. and i feel sorry for my this stuff, but you know 'I always watch everyday with what kind of stuff they do".. and "I have a I.Tax background" so thats all adding to the spice..

Point wise Answers

1) I know what the website deals with and i am with that website from the time of its launch
2)More than a job its my passion to work for that website.
3)Money Source is very simple - Donations . Although it is not so high that we can become millionaire but it is enough to pay server and our bills. In one line its a non-profit website
4)No such issue has came
5)When the site was launched, its ranking was 2lac in india, and now it is about 50000 (within 6 months). When i joined it i never thought that website will survive more than 3 months (because of its niche. Till now there is no site in India like this. It is first of its kind).

what i have achieved is from worker i have become customer relation head and handles all communication and social networking of website.

I am paying my tax every year so no worry from IT Dept.

I agree to Arvie they only want to scam your money that's why they look promising.They only want to promote their site.That's why they are using that online jobs.
